as per Barts observations this article more than backs him up..if anything it's far worse & more complicated than anticipated. Do NOT expect ANY release from the vault any time soon.

After reading that and trying to stop my head from exploding (joking) what a nightmare. There a more loops in the legal side than the music.

I respect artists even more.

How can an artist really know what is being signed and agreed to? I wonder if WB is waiting for the estate issues to be settled and then try to exercise their rights to IP/Control over the vault tracks.

Speculating, if WB does not restrict future vault releases, does that mean that Prince did in fact have control/ownership of his masters?
