I am really Missing "Prince" guys

I was sitting at my computer, and was going to watch some "Prince" videos, then it just hit me. I really miss Prince the man! Listening to his music isn't helping, watching his videos aren't helpling, all it does is bring on the nightly tears, This whole situation is so hearbreaking life can be a trip-

Eye Miss U Prince........

I have just finished listening to sidney piano and mic show. The first full show i have listened too since his death. And it is just bloody heartbreaking to think no more new shows to hear his amazing improvising and banter with an audience. Its just soul destroying. There will never be another, and it absolutely kills. I don't think i will ever really get over it fully. Especially when its possible his death could have been avoided. I have a lovely family to look after, so life goes on but its still like a dagger to the heart!

I'm more angry about it at this point. What a bullsh*t world where we lose Prince like we did. He should still be here and seems like he was almost saved.

.

The world is different without him. I just feel his lack of presence on the planet. Even if I didn't listen to his music all the time, his energy was stilll there and was nice to think of him in the studio somewhere or chilling in Hawaii or Spain or whatever. The world and life, in general, is just less exciting without him here any longer.

It's just incredibly painful knowing he is no longer here..I really felt like I didn't want to exist my days were dark and they still are.It just isn't fair and the 7th is approaching..Why, why is this not a horrible nightmare but instead a grim reality. I listen to revelation every night as I fall asleep. My pillow is never dry, all I can say is the world is a cold place now. I just want to send my love to all of you who are also continuing to hurt.Let our hearts soar together as one collective energy of love for our Prince. xx

I feel for you guys. I went through a similar ordeal with MJ when he passed. I took it hard, and ultimately realised I had invested too much in him all along and it was unhealthy. I have been as obsessed with Prince as I was with MJ in the past, but I made some adjustments to my life after MJ's death, and as sad as I felt when Prince passed, I took it a lot better than losing MJ, I bounced back much quicker.

The sad thing is, I think you just get used to losing people you care about. MJ and Prince meant the world to me growing up, and I never outgrew my fandom or interest in either of them (and I never will - I'm a fan for life).

But I am just enjoying the music now, which feels more sacred than ever and I'm just glad more people are now being exposed to what an exceptional musician Prince Rodgers Nelson was.

one thing to prepare for, while WE know the significance of june 7, we will see very little if anything in the media. june 7 is the date of the u.s. california primary and everyone will be blathering about politics. so we should not expect anything out of the press other than a brief mention that its his birthday if we even get that.

just another blow to this amazing man....although it comforts me to know that HE would not care since he did not observe his birthday...or more correctly, the ANNIVERSARY of his birth, since as prince often liked to remind people, we only had ONE true birthday.

miss ya, dude....

I would say the same thing. I went to twitter just to see what he was posting. Even his music feels different since. The only hope is i will have the chance to see him and speak with him again. My family never understand my loss, that's why i come here everyday.

I was listening to Planet Earth yesterday, hadn't thought too much of the album at the time, but now, it reminds me of those 21 concerts in London, and it takes on a whole different meaning for me.
The song, Somewhere Here On Earth makes me cry everytime, because of the realisation that he is no longer anywhere here on earth, and I kinda took for granted all those years that he was... sad

unbearable isn't it...sadly with the autopsy due out it will only get worse before it gets better. I am still in a state of shock as we all are. Thankfully we have so much music & many memroies to bring the ooccasional smile.

Agree totally. The fact that we have lost Prince so relatively soon in his expected human lifespan remains a horrible, utterly wrong thing to me. It seems unreal even now and a small part of me still half expects to hear of his latest releases, concerts, antics, sayings etc. He is probably the first artist who has passed in my adult life who I will truly 'miss' on a day to day basis, strange as that may seem.

But Prince as a man was someone I never knew, we knew the musician and celebrity and he will be there forever. Just ... no more in the present sad.

We must look to ourselves, our loved ones and families, invest in our own lives and those we care about in them. To the world at large including us, the world has lost imo the single most talented music artist and live performer active from say 1982 to 2016. To the Nelson family and people who were genuinely close to Prince over the years, they have lost a real person who was special, complicated and unique to them.

The world of music has perhaps lost the most. His art survives and will live on without the man, but at this stage, to know that Prince will never again be here in 'real time' to entertain, enlighten, baffle and frustrate us is so very sad.

Both Prince and all us fans must be at peace and rest funky in purple, until the Dawn ... cool
