Dopamine Rush

Anyone now if this has surfaced with P vocals in pristine quality yet - not asking for it, just a question

Nope. There is no version (known of) with vox. This is a Madhouse type track that appeared on Eric Leeds debut solo record.

Have the Madhouse album - it does exist with P vocals - and a pristine snippet released not that long ago. just hanging out for the full version...

Yeah, I have at least one boot with the unreleased Madhouse 24 on it -- and don't recall any Prince vocals on it. I also don't remember it being good enough to get out and listen to it again to be sure. Princevault doesn't mention anything about Prince vocals being recorded -- and they include info on the unreleased version.

Just the snippet is available. I love his vocals on it.

Then he must have done vocals for other Madhouse songs...

They may be newly recorded vox. Surely Eric Leeds would be the one to ask about this.

Then again, maybe Prince did it on his own and didn't tell anyone. Can't wrap my head around this one. That's 2+ new records right there. (Let's not forget the 12" remixes).

Not a fan of the NPG version of MH24. Just not the same. Two distictly different sounds. Maybe I'd feel differently if there were P vox over them. Thankfully Tony M was out of the picture at that time -- so doubtful he'd be there to ruin them. No Sonny either, please.

There's a short sung verse on the version on the Madhouse 24 version of Dopamine Rush. The verses on this snippet are similar in style. I think he just whittled down the verses for the Madhouse version.

Still waiting for the full lenght pristine quality P Version to leak, the 2 minute snippet is gourgeous.
Surely one of my "holy grail" of this moment.

I hope it will be included in one of the next outtakes CD collection.

I just listened to it with vocals on YouTube. Search "Dopamine Rush", and the video w/ a pic of Prince from the Lovesexy tour book is the one w/ you want. It's about 4:something long.

Not sure that's the one. The version on youtube has been circulating for quite a while.
