This really hit home with me. My younger brother Isiah has autism. My brother Isiah's all time favorite song is Prince's "Let's Work" (extended version). My brother don't talk much, but he yells the lyrics and beat to the entire extended song. If they perform "Let's Work, I may bawl my eyes out. One thing for certain, if it's televised, I will definitely be watching with my younger brother. :')

Love it! Must be quite a sight, I always felt guilty about liking Let's Work so much but now that I know your brother shares my devotion, I'm going to play the entire song tonight real loud. (No singing though -- my voice is a cross between Maurice Chevalier and Tom Waits sucking on a lozange).

Seriously can't thank Autism Rock enough for doing this. Always wanted to see the Time and I'm not sure how long it's been since they were last in the UK (YES ALBEIT A DIFFERENT LINEUP) but with this now happening and going on the Saturday they have delivered thios and what would ultimately be the last time I'd ever see Prince live :'(

Glad to see them do this and for for a great cause as well!

Roll on June 25th!

Sadly, I'm already doubled booked on the 24th and I just can't see any way of me getting to London on the 25th either. Absolutely gutted. Have a great time all of those who are going.

Have you got a link to the presale? My understanding was that tickets were going on sale next Monday.

.

Presale tickets (Stalls - Standing only) are available via this link

Autism Rocks LONDON - eve... - PRESALE

.

Tickets for the Saturday night booked. Looking forward to seeing Morris at the Hammersmith Apollo/Odeon again - last time was in '88 in support of his DayDreaming album.

.

Hoping that Ronson gets Morris to take the lead vox for Uptown Funk too - seems like it would be a nobrainer.

Just stressing that Mark Ronson is only doing a DJ set at the shows.

just cannot bring myself to go...truly feel MD is milking this one. If it were the original 7 then would reconsider BUT have you seen the huge tour list he announced within days 'to keep the legacy alive' ! Don't make me laugh MD...guess the character in P.Rain was pretty damn close! confused

My issue and everyone is different is that I am probably not ready to listen to someone cover Prince - Its great for the Charity and I really hope it raises lots of money but I registered on the concert line but just couldnt ring for tickets I sat with the phone in my hand but couldnt do it.

Been lucky seen Prince so many time it would feel really strange and saw the Time do their 60 minutes in 1984 (I think that was theyear )it was at Hammersmith.

Not sure I shouldnt just leave it and remember that concert I cant fit in the Tshirt anymore !! - still finding this all really difficult if I am honest - even seeing things like the name of the lady at the Controversy Fan Club -just not seen that name for 20 years and all the material on You Tube -its surreal and very sad

Does anyone know if tickets for the seated area upstairs might go on sale? At the moment, I can only see stalls standing tickets for sale.

I'm kinda asking the same wanted to take my 11 year old son.. wasnt sure what type of gig it is ..is it on floor standing and Mark Ronson DJ set ..followed by Celo Green and the Time.. not sure what to expect and if appropriate for a 11 year old

same with me - was actually thinking of taking my 6 year old! Probably too young. It would be odd if the upstairs seats weren't used - my hunch is that they might be held back for charity guests etc, which is fair enough. Or maybe they might be released after downstairs is sold out.

My guess is front rows of balcony reserved for VIP's/guests etc, and so far as all tickets that can be purchased are GA/standing then once floor full on the day then people will be let upstairs etc

Hi yea I kind of felt the same - that he was cashing in a bit, but I just wanted to go where mutual Prince fans will be and celebrate his life. Its still devastating for me that P is not around making music somewhere sad

I've got tickets for me and my daughter - we went together watching Prince on 17th May 2014 in Manchester, it was amazing and this concert will probably not come any where close to how brilliant that was but i'm sure it will be fun, and its for charity.

U know there ain't no other

Could someone tell me if an age limit (our little autistic would love to go) also "if" seating tickets will be available?

MI wonder if Ronson is now citing Prince as a major influence of Uptown Funk? Probably, conveniently.

Sounds like it would be a good show anyway. Will be nice if the Time do some shows on their own whilst in the UK though.

Ronson has always cited Prince and Duran Duran as his two biggest influences, quite a long time before he did "Uptown Funk".

I was interested in attending this, but then saw Morris Day and The Time THIRD on the bill on the flyers and posters for the gigs.

Trying to find out now if The Time are doing at least a full 60 minute plus set. If not, I'm out. They are the only act on the bill with any genuine relevance to Prince.

Maybe but here in the UK during Brit awards he thanked Morris day and jimmy jam and terry Lewis. Prince's name seemed noticeably absent. I think that's what people ate referring to
