Nice story, plus I liked her singing of Nothing Compares ... She's a great singer!
Seems like he's been performing all night and inviting (female) artists to PP for decades... Right up until this April.
I guess he was doing what he loved.

Did I understand correctly that she took his gum out of his mouth?
Yes, she tells the story well - I like the description f his clothing, and screaming in the bathroom nonstop. I would have too.
Cool that he listened to her in and complimented her - I like how he asked her name as if he didn't know.
She definitely has a lot of respect for him, says he was generous and kind.

Yeah I think she really did! lol so funny ... imagine stealing his gum right out of his mouth ... I would probably then put it in my own mouth instead of giving it back or throwing it away! lol lol. And that she screamed for 7 minutes in the bathroom was just hilarious. Cool woman with a great voice~! yes

Great anecdote, i always liked Taylor, even had her Cant Fight Fate album back in the day.

You should search for Tig Notaro's 'Taylor Dayne' story. No Prince mentions, but it's hilarious.

I wondered what happened to her. "I'll Always Love You" was a great ballad.

She has a great voice still...loved her in the late 80's. I'll always love you was our wedding song in '88.

LOL at Prince enunciating "WOULD" again in the aftershow clip. He did it in the Small Club, 2nd Show That Night release as well.

Man, he was funny.

Thanks for the update.
Taylor Dane sings great, but it just strikes me again how great a singer Prince was (I really hate using past tense)! And just how talented, leading the band, playing the keys, singing, and doing all this after a full concert!

The live performances make me happy while watching them, but then I get really sad. I hope that feeling goes away eventually and I can just enjoy again.
