The dude is just burnin that stage up with moves during this show. He was almost 55 here, it's truly amazing. I have to think these hip issues are being greatly exaggerated.

Another great performance.

He looks much more energetic here... more than in Atlanta obviously.

His arms look good too.

Wow, that concert was exactly 2 years ago.

Hate to speculate, but maybe something happened to him more recently, within the last year.

He was dancing up a storm in 2015 when I saw him too. Exactly 1 year ago. May 19.

This is speaking from someone who isn't from England, but I always felt he loved performing there, especially London. I've seen the footage from the 21 nights at the o2 and he looks so happy. I know this is going to sound a bit over the top, but I think he held a special in his heart for London.

I was watching something last night... I wish I could remember when it was from... but within the last 5 years... and he looked amazing - just moving around and looking very healthy. When you see those in contrast with the last 12-15 months... it really is stark. More than just the natural loss of muscle tone that happens with aging, imo.

yep, there was a paradigm shift in look that cant be attributed to aging..something else was in play...

I'm fairly new to Prince's work post 2010 so I apologize if this is a dumb question but who is the girl dancing around with the baton/stick thing he calls over to sing on songs like "Take me With You?"

When I saw him Washington DC last June 2015, he was just as energetic and breaking it down just as he was in this 2014 clip. Something definitely went downhill for him in the last year, basically I pinpoint when he decided to do those dates for the Piano & Microphone tour. He just looked so thin. Ughh. Heartbreaking sad

Have U had your + today?

I was at this concert in Manchester. It was on my birthday (May 17th) and he was AWESOME. I saw Prince live just twice, and over 20 years apart....but the 2014 concert was wayyyyyy better.

I don't remember much about his dancing that night, because I was there to see Prince, not Gene Kelly, but his guitar work and singing on the night were jaw droppingly good. So glad that I got to see him again, the memory of that night will last my lifetime.

It makes me laugh when people talk about Prince having been well past his peak. His studio albums may or may not have come up to the standard of his past, but live he was still a quite amazing performer in his mid 50's. The Prince I saw in 2014 was at the peak of his live powers.

He must have held a special place in his heart for Manchester too (not everything in England happens in London, lol). The concert highlighted was in Manchester, I was there and he was immense biggrin
