I consider it mandatory that the original Time perform one last time at the tribute. Jesse and whoever else need to put aside any differences and get this done. The Time should close the show.

I feel like The Time is the one legacy act that still has their chops and can give us the one performance that is close to a very special moment in his life. I also think that Sheila E also can put on a good performance. Prince died young but most of these folks are approaching 60 and it will be a tough show to put on. On one end, we dont want young acts to butcher his stuff at the tribute. On the other end, while we love some of his ex band members and associated artists, many of them are past their prime and I do not say that in a critical way. I also think that Andy Allo is the one young associated artist that I want to see the most do his stuff. 3rd3EyeGirl should do some stuff but it would be nice if no one sang as a tribute to the missing man in the group.

No 'official' date, time or venue has been given yet, right? Is anything taking place next week-so sad, his birthday was only weeks away...
