I am a long time Prince fan, late 70s, short time lurker. Saw him in big arenas and small clubs. Like the rest of you I having a hard time. I am surprised that I am still having a hard time. I went to the grocery store for the first time today and just about lost it at the check out with all those covers facing me. If a song had come on I would have been a puddle on the floor. I have lost touch with most of the friends I had when I discovered Prince so I was mourning alone. Thank you all for helping me feel a little less alone. I am hopeful that I will finally reach acceptance and find the joy in his music again. Thanks for letting me vent too.

I understand, I am struggling each day too, I think I am OK then I cry again - and my family are over it, so I suffer in silence - I am grateful I have the flu right now coz the red and puffy eyes looks like the flu.
