Prince must have been in unbelievable pain...

Hearting the pretty solid, mainstream news accounts that Prince was scheduled to see a nationally renowned Opiate addiction specialist the morning he was found passed away.

This just breaks my heart...

Prince was super private, super stoic, and was a lifelong teetotaler. I think we would all agree that he was literally the Last Person We’d Ever Think Had A Problem Like This. He

never “flaked”, never canceled shows, never acted like a jackass in public, and was relatively scandal free his entire life.

He was an utter professional all his working life as a musician and performer. He was never a “drug addict” and never was in rehab and was always lucid, always present, always

amazing productive. His last shows were reportedly incredible virtuosic performances.

The fact that he was in such incredible pain the last few years that opiates were his only relief is so sad.

He hated strangers, hated having his privacy violated, and probably DOUBLY HATED doctors.

We never knew because he was amazing. He was always the best…even when he felt terrible.

God bless you, P.

I agree, he was in pain and take offense to him being labeled and addict. It appears that the dependancy on pain meds was severe, but this is not the same as a person who seeks recreational grugs to party or just be high. My anger is rising all over again. If this is truly the cause of his death and he had an accidental OD the week before and have an addiction specialist scheduled....WHY WAS HE LEFT ALONE????!!!! Who's dumb decision was it to do that? He should have been monitored 24 /7 until he was out of the woods. I don;t care what he said or demanded. Pretend you go looked out of your own house or say you wanted to record in the studio all night...make up any story/excuse but do not leave him alone. Now it seems that this "trusted team" could not be trusted to make the best decisions when he could not. He didnt have to die. Hell, I bet there are at least a dozen or more fans in here who would have sat with him all night unpaid. I would have flown out and done whatever just to have him here with us. He was supposed to grow old and gray with us. sad fit fit fit

No he wasn't, yes he did, and you have no way of knowing that.
