Sorry, but this is a terrible graphic! The face looks nothing like Prince imo.

So the consensus seems to be that The Genius Of Prince is the best one so far? Is the People one worth getting? I'm based in the UK so haven't seen either at a newsstand so that I can look at them and see if they're worth getting...

As far as UK music magazines go, I'm a bit disappointed - I feel they were much more expansive covering Bowie. Mojo in particular is a travesty - 10 frankly uninspiring pages and they decided to give the cover to another Minnesota legend, Dylan...

Terrible, doesn't look like Prince at all. More like Kris Humphries dressed up as Prince

I'm based in the UK I think the People magazine is definitely worth getting and I would also get the new Classicpop Prince special mag too. You can order both online at newsstand.co.uk.

Unfortunately the Conde-Nast Prince special magazine is not available in the UK and can only be brought from eBay for about £25 (including P&P).

LOL! Maybe in Japan, they think all foreigners look alike so nobody would know if they used a picture of Kris disguised as Prince.

That is disgraceful. It annoyed me so much that I wrote them a nasty Facebook message.

the media diversified website in the UK has done a series of pieces on prince. some are quite personal fiction pieces. others are more journalistic.

A whole bunch of photos unrelelated to tributes in NEW magazines about Prince's passing.

Just wanted to clarify that this might not be the place for that. There's a photo thread for those. This is to update if there is a NEW magazine cover -- hopefully full issues of tributes to Prince.

Okay. Since we now have to scroll through pic spam from magazines/newspapers from a month ago -- many posted on page 1 of this thread -- do we need to start a new thread so people only post magazines that are available for purchase? Unfortunately, it seems that one poster in particular doesn't seem to understand the intentions of this thread.

Sigh.
