Little red corvette/dirty mind piano and microphone, it's the last piece of music I bought of his while he was still alive, I love it and it makes me feel happy that no matter what some people may say, he never lost it. Beggin' woman blues too, it just makes me laugh and shows Princes great sense of humour off perfectly.

Where did you buy that from?

Bought it from Tidal and then converted it to iTunes, there's joy in repetition live from piano and microphone on there too and I've just found Black Sweat from piano and microphone on there, so bought and downloaded that as well.

All songs from Hitnrun phase II- without "Revelation"- a beautiful song, but makes me crying.

Not a song. But I listened to Exodus yesterday, and the Mashed Potato Girl segue and New Power Day really got me to chuckling. It was great to laugh for a change.

"North"

been playing N.E.W.S. and Come, almost exclusively, since 4/21/16...

"Pheremone" sounds so new to me...and it sounds like the mother of the song, "3121"

The Beautiful Ones, Sometimes it Snows in April, Way Back Home. Although I just heard Way Back Home for the first time a few days ago it brings me comfort. Lots of emotion in this song. Is it me or does anyone else hear the same ultrasound hearrbeat as in Sex in the Summer? I remember in an interview he said they recorded Gregory's ultrasound heartbeat and added drums around it. Anyhow seems as if I hear it in Way Back Home as well.

Mountains for me too

I agree with you both. The Parade Era in general has been comforting but specifically Mountains

Totally Mountains. Parade was the first CD I listened to but I haven't been able to listen to Snows in April for a few years now.
Surprise, surprise.
Another treat. Another trick.

They should totally do a 17Days all radio station blitz at 1007 on Sunday (I think)

Love that one. Might be my all time favorite.

Nearly everything, really. But especially the B-sides, unofficial releases and rarely heard stuff like sound checks and demos that are popping up.

But the surprise I keep going back to is 20Ten stuff I rarely played, like Lavaux, Walk In Sand and Sea of Everything (already loved Sticky Like Glue, Future Soul Song, Laydown). Strange but true wink

Alphabet street came on the radio, i started to cry but sing very loudly to it.

It reminded me of all the joy I've felt listening and how positive lovesexy is, despite my love of the black album . Which I also listened to, because it is next level funk

Alphabet Street (funky chicken scratch guitar line is infectious)

Let's Work (vintage purple funk, bassline is bananas)

Anotherloverholenyohead (perfect blend of funk and orchestral)

Mountains (feels like spring just broke, love Wendy& Lisa vocals))

Elephants and Flowers (GB standout track)

17 Days (played the purple 45 to death in high school, sick bassline)

Erotic City (she's saying funk, he's saying....)

When You Were Mine (punk/funk at its finest)

Something in the Water (synth chords and Linn licks for days)

Venus de Milo (beautifully sad yet romantic)

Purple Rain strings at the end (sounds like an actual stairway to heaven)
