It just snowed (well mass load of hailstones across London)....now sunny skies again.

That people can be assholes even more so after someone dies. I mean if I get another person asking "wasnt he gay" Really? this man just died 5 days ago, but these idiots can only say that

1. That Prince won't be at my party for obvious reasons.

2. Anyone who's not a Prince fan doesn't get me.

3. Tattoos really hurt at first, but then they don't.

4. Guys really do cry.

5. If TMZ says someone died.... believe them.... anything else they post is trash.

6. That I should stop putting off concerts thinking there will always be one closer to me. (The reason I didn't go to the ATL concert) (super depressed because I could have gone.)

7. Have a box of tissues handy at all times.

8. Prince fans are the coolest folks.

9. The block feature on FB is a god send.

1. That this has affected me a crap load more than i expected it would.

2. He meant more to me than i realised (over these past 29 years)

3 . Gutted that he won't be the one controlling the future releases (if there are any)

5. This has left a much bigger hole than any of the numerous relationships that didn't work out

Yep, was just out in that. Seemed closer to snow than hail as things were splatting rather than bouncing, so I'm gonna go with that and claim that it did indeed snow

What I've learnt is that Prince was way more respected than I thought, at least here in the UK. He made barely a splash in the media with shows or albums but his death was everywhere and apart from a couple of the gutter press papers, there's been nothing but amazing things said about him by everyone.

This ignorant, trashy woman said the same thing to me in the nail shop, and I looked at her and snapped, "Wtf does his sexuality have to do with ANYTHING?!! " I bet she didn't say anything else about him to me!

I hated to bring it up but I have had at least three no class people ask me that this weekend alone I mean do people not have tact and decency. Who does this after a death?

way , way more respected than i thought as well.. Way more liked than i knew...I thought i was the only Prince stan in an office of 20 till the day he died..Literally the whole office was devastedd so much so that our CEO said fuck it and took us all for a walk to get ice cream...Further, there were 20 different Prince songs playing simultaneously as each person was playing their favorite; none the same..that says something about Prince, his impact and hs catalog

I learned on a deeper level that Prince was a very loving person & mentor to Josh, 3EG, Liv, and all the other recent protoges / collaborators. I celebrate that positive bond they had.

I realized how many women Prince had helped get started in the music industry. I think that is a truly wonderful legacy.

I feel I've learned a lot....

1. I didn't know Prince was in desperate need of a hip operation.

2. That Morris Day also had a hip op and was trying to persude Prince to have one.

3. That prince was in so much pain and taking serious amounts of medication.

.

4. That Prince had been married so many times - I think three have been confirmed.

5. That Susan Rogers formally started the vault back in 1983.

I'm sure I will learn more as time unfolds.

But above all, I've learned how much Prince meant to me and how much he felt like family.

I'm going to miss him so very much.

8. I want to work where you work

I had no idea how his death would affect me. No damn clue. Outside of friends and family, this is the most devastating loss that I have ever suffered.

Once again, i had no idea.

I took his music and the impact of his music on my life for granted for the last several years.

I was not expecting Prince's death to effect me so deeply. I dunno, maybe it coincided with my midlife crisis and worsened things.

A Prince symbol with two doves.... I didn't want to make them cry. The prince symbol represnts prince of course and the doves represent him being in heaven with my grandmother and neice.

That way TOO MANY who never ever gave a s##t b4 now try to jump on the Purple bandwagon once they've heard how amazing Prince was (IS!!!).

I had someone tell me I was just a bandwagon fan. But this same person can't tell me any other songs other than what's on the Purple Rain Album. In addition I would always quote Prince lyrics on my FB page randomly and she was always saying how my quotes were weird. Little did she know they were all Prince lyrics.
