3121....creepy First off I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that prince is dead...I have been in bed for days,crying on and off...im just sick about this but something very creepy happened to me on April 21st...I have been looking for my 3121 cd for a long time,I get in my car and its with all my other cds...I asked my husband and son and they said they did not put it there but the creepy thing is that 3121 is the day he died...3+1=4(the month of april) and he died on the 21st....Idk...it just creeped me out😕 | |

3121 was released in 2006. 31-21=10 2006 + 10 = 2016 3+1 = 4 4 = april 21 = the day he died in april 2016...
2006 - 10 = 1996 Chaos and Disorder was released in 1996 He left us in chaos and disorder
31+21 = 52 3+2 = 5 52 + 5 = 57 He died at 57 years of age.
And so on and so on... It doesn't say anything... | |

I'm not trying to be disrespectful (please know I'm not) but I put on some Prince videos yesterday while I was getting ready to go out and "Face Down" came on --- I'm sure you guys have seen it, the whole funeral and everything--- and I had to run and quickly skip to the next video. Then I thought about it all day long. Stressed me out so bad. | |

Surely it's obvious in the lyrics that the Elevator is meant to be the Devil. It's what I've always taken from it as soon as I listened to the lyrics properly.

Prince says on the Emancipation Oprah interview that the elevator is the devil. He said he had to change it to the elevator because you couldn't say Satan or the Devil in a song back then. It's just--- the way all this played is too strange. | |

I just watched the Oprah interview last night. I don't know about de-elevator or the dust jacket but certainly in that interview he uses the word elevator when talking about that song and what it means. | |

This is what I know of the Dolphin metaphore...
When he released this song he just started calling himself O-+->. It seemed that sales dropped and it felt to him no one (either the public, or WB) listened anymore. So he sang 'If I came back as a Dolphin would you listen to me then'. Dolphin is derived from the French word Dauphin (spelling?) which means Prince.
So he meant either: If I changed my name back to Prince, would you buy more records? Or would you, WB, reconsider the contract. | |
