What's the first song you heard after it happened? This was a big decision for me and I chose Under The Cherry Moon. It's haunting sonic quality and lyrics about dying were significantly poignant now. It's always been one of my faves of his.
In fact, I think a lot of the music from that era are riddled with themese of death....Old Frinds 4 Sale (unreleased version), Sometimes It Snows In April, There's Others Here with Us, etc.
When I heard him start to sing 'How can I stay to, Stay where I am?' I started bawling.
