No response from the JW: Larry Graham?

After watching CNN for hours over the last couple days and seeing many of Prince's associates speaking about P, I find it strange know word from Larry Graham? Since he called P his little brother and got him into the JWs.

This silence does surprise me.

Sheila E has been amazing. So much for the rumors that they were no longer friends.

I don't think it was purely rumour. They definitely had a fall-out.

But, it appears that they reconciled prior to his passing - which is good to know.

He was on bbc6 music this morning talking to Huey Morgan about a time he and Prince and Stevie Wonder went out for the evening in Chicago and ended up jamming in a restaurant or bar, basically in a shop window with their backs to the pavement outside where a huge crowd gathered. He said there were more people outside watching than in the bar.

I'm pretty sure the JW are waiting for the results of the autopsy. That is what pisses me off about religious groups. They are supposed to be ties that mean something. They are meant to stand by their fellow believers. But even RUMORS of drugs are enough to let them pause and wait for the autopsy results.

Just one more reason I have never and will never join any church or fath organisation. If you believe in God and mean it, stand by your fellow believers - not only when it makes you look good!

I'm not a bit surprised, their is not much difference between them and Westboro B.C.

Grandma's hands clapped in church on Sunday morning, Grandma's hands played the tamborine so well.

Dez Dickerson has mentioned Larry Graham's influence on Prince, to People magazine, in the last hour.

Larry has been mostly silent for a few years. Makes me wonder if the rumors of pain meds are true. Seems that would cause a fallout
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

He was at the private funeral and spoke on MSNBC I think Saturday night. Of course wearing a purple suit and purple hat.

Why? Are legal medications prescribed for legitimate pain not allowed by the JW's?

Pain meds are completely acceptable to JWs, as well as pretty much any medical treatment you can name.

Only blood transfusions are forbidden by the Bible.

Thanks. So we can agree that Larry should not have had any issue with it.

Larry and Sheila E spoke to a local news station after the service for Prince when the staff gave out the purple boxes to the fans. He was hurting and spoke very little as Sheila stepped in to speak for him.

It was only a matter of time until someone mentioned Larry Graham.

I saw him speak on TV and he seemed genuinely sad. I was a bit surprised to see him with Sheila because from what I remember she had beef with Prince because he wanted to let GCS open for him instead of Sheila but, regarding the tragic circumstances, they are probably saying let bygones be bygones. Both talked and looked very sad, and both also talked about how much they learned about music from Prince. I think Larry also called him his brother but I don´t remember really,it was a very short clip and both were much too sad to say more.

" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Thanks. So we can agree that Larry should not have had any issue with it.

Not only that, Prince was a grown man and fully capable of making his own healthcare decisions based upon his own knowledge and the information available to anyone.

She is the one who got angry with him awhile back and issued a statement that she wasn't going to work with him again. But I'm sure she got over it and not a surprise that both she and Mayte still loved Prince. It is Prince after all and probably some of the best times of their lives was spent with him.

Forbidden by whose Bible? You must be a JW? Because the King James Version Holy Bible is different from the JW Bible! razz wink
