cremation sad

Has this been confirmed? I'm one of those people that hates cremation.

I hope he gets buried. Burial seems so much more natural.

I agree, not a fan of creamation.

I think burial is only natural if the body is put in direct contact with the ground. a $200 dollar gold plated casket with velvet material inside isn't too nature like lol I've thought about it more in the wake of a few loved ones passings. A friend of mine who was an arborist wanted some of his ashed infused in the earth of a favorite tree of his.

.

I think it is all in the image. Many cultures and ethnic groups around the world cremate their dead.

Burial isn't always the way for many people. Passing the body off into the waters is a way for some.
.
My cousin passed away a few years ago. And she did not want to be buried. She said for one it all costs to much money for something that will just go in the ground and never be seen again. And the second reason was more along the lines of how we the living thing 'as if we are still alive'
It's a reason you can make millions of dollars off the families of the grieving. My cousin said the idea of being down in the dark cold was the other influence to be cremated. A lot of people think of it like that. SOmeone they love 6ft under the ground in the dark and cold. That is why people put blankets and family/friends pictures in the caskets with the dead. Momentos and intimate items. But if they pull the casket up in a years time that body is in the same state as the person cremated.

My cousin and many others who are being moved off that image, like the idea of being in an urn with the family in the living room of people that loved them.
