A part of me still can't believe this is true.

I was hanging a framed 3121 poster and a symbol tambourine up on the wall of my redecorated studio, literally one hour befor the news broke.

Heartbreaking. Sad beyond words.

Extremely grateful that I managed to see him live a handful of times.

Rest in peace, you magnificent man.

Pretty much sums it up for me. There's noone for me left that would give me that much joy as these two. I can't imagine anyone else coming in my life-time who could replace these two.

I don't even know what to say and where to start....or what to say that a million of you haven't already.

All I know is a piece of my soul literally have been ripped out and taken away. After complete denial, I sit here with tears streaming down my face realzing the man, the idol I first discovered at 10 years old will no longer be able to share his gifts me and the rest of the world.

Over the course of the last 32 years of my life, Prince has been inspirational, influential and just downright the soundtrack of my life. He was there and his songs became the soundtrack for all stages of my life as I hit puberty, left for college, got married and had children. He helped pick up my spirits, he helped me grief but most of all showed me just how amazing of a genius he truly was.

I was fortunate enough to see him live 28 times with the most important people in my life.... but I feel like I still got cheated.

It absolutely kills me to think the shows at Paramount will be the last time I will ever see him perform. I cannot understand or comprehend that this was happened.

I am not sure I will be ever to get over this, just like many of you will not be able to either. But I hope us "Purple People" stay united and continue to share everything he has shared with us.

According to CNN, the Mayor of Chanhassen has been in discussion with Prince's family about turning Paisley Park into a tourist museum.

I have not loged on in 12 years. I was looking for confort from other that loved him like me. Im one of the lucky ones. Prince and I shared a moment. We will all continue with our lives. Prince said it was always about the music. Im done with elevators for a while.

I have not cried but man It's hard to see one of your childhood heros go so soon...Let the tributes begin!
