Me too a few days ago - 20 dollars to Ireland was crazy. But they must be listening to our complaints - there is a cheaper international postage option now for 5.30, so I ordered it last night - a total of USD 19.30.

I have the it downloaded for ages but I haven't been brave enough to listen yet after the crudfest that was Phase 1....

I briefly looked into trying to get the CD but the price of having it shipped to Ireland cost more than the CD itself. I just couldn't justify it. If Prince gets his head out of his arse and releases the CD properly, then I will buy it.

Has anyone received it from funk4u yet?

I tried twice to send them an email (on two different email addresses) and they were both sent back to me as Delivery Unreceived - doesn't bode well if I wanted to complain to them and they can't receive any emails

I ordered one from Electric Fetus last night, (February 8th). Even though the message of the lyrics are occasionally not to my liking, I'm fairly fond of the record.

I had no problems as I placed my order on Friday and received it Monday in California. Shipping was only $1.64.

I placed my order on Electric Fetus on January 30th. I was charged at the moment and received a mail with the confirmation plus an order number (useless anyway, as there's no way I'd check the order status or anything about said order number on their site). Yesterday I mailed them asking about it - have not received any reply, but found on my bank statement I've been fully refunded. So, I sort of take my order has been cancelled but have no idea why or what was the problem. You can still order the items at their site (HnR Phase Two + Judith Hill's Back In Time) but I'm quite disappointed with their customer service.

I see there's other 'outlets' for HnR Phase Two, but can't seem to find any other for the Judith Hill one ...

Is "anybody" selling both items, preferably from Europe?

I got mine from a friendly orger who was at Paisly Park for a fair price. the same guy everyone bitched at for placing it on ebay. I'm very happy with this cd. good music, good quality, no downloading bullshit and lyrics for every track.

Yay, my CD has arrived here in the UK.

Ordered on January 29th from Electric Fetus.

Nicely packaged too; lots of padding.

And a hand-written note on the receipt, thanking me for my order.

Cool.

Apparently there are some European sellers, anyone have any knowledge?

It's easier to get hold of the 2 Paisley Park, piano and microphone shows than phase II on CD!!!!

I am from the UK. I ordered 4 x Prince & 4 x Judith Hill also on the 29th from Electric Fetus. I had no confirmation from them. I did immediately get a receipt from PayPal however. I heard nothing from EF for 12 days. I then emailed yesterday them with my concerns. They replied that they were processing hundreds of orders & that my order would be processed either late tonight or tomorrow & that I would be emailed a 'customs barcode number.' (Whatever that is!!)
So it seems people are getting varying service.

So people are paying ridiculous money for imports because there will be no US domestic release of the CD? If this was revealed, I just dont have time or patience to wade through the 16 pages on this thread

.

EF have given an unacceptable response.

.

It doesn't take more than 12 days to put a CD in an envelope.

.

Even someone on minimum wage would have enough intelligence to understand a simple workflow process - print order > pick CD > put paper and CD in envelope > add franked label > put in post bag.

.

Someone could easily do 500+ a day!

.

They also could very easily add a sentence to the product description on the webiste saying that orders will be dispatched in 2 weeks - communication works every time.

.

Are these people really running a business?

.

It's not. HnR1 costs € 19 or something in most Dutch stores or webshops excluding shipping.. (saw one exception for € 13). So HnR2 for € 17,70 is cheaper even when it comes from the US.

In Ireland, the Phase One CD is €12 in HMV and Tower Records. I think some people (myself included) think that having to pay 18 quid or more AND having to wait for it to be delivered which seems to be taking longer for some people than others, is a bit much. The general consensus on the Org is that Phase Two is the better album but I wonder if the sales have been hurt because of the amateurish distribution.

That comment seems to imply that someone on minimum wage would have minimal or low intelligence. Is that your intention?

It is odd that the two affiliates who are selling this haven't done any marketing.

.

Once everyone on here has bought it, it will be dead in the water.

.

Sadly people are being ripped off on eBay - as usual.
