Prince Backing tracks/Instrumentals

Hi there guys.

I play out 5-6 night every week hre in cyprus, guitarist/singer.

And of course i squueeze as many Prince tunes in2 my sets as pos, but i only really have the standards.. u know Purple rain, TMBGITW , poplife , controversary, sign o the times , doves cry , little red corvette , etc... and so on.

What i'd like are a few more classic P tunes, ones that folk dont play too often, i'd like to play them , and introduce others to these masters !

Does anyone out there have any of the following and their sort..?

Love you in me

Anna Stesia

Question of U

D.M.S.R

Strange releationship

Dolphin

Good times

Any of the above i would really love to play here, any help!!..

i already use karaoke version / you tube / and a few others. but of course nobody has the above.

Mnay thanks 4 your time guys.

cant wait 2 hear from u.

Adore, If I was Your Girlfriend, Do me Baby for instance. Oh, or that was not the question? Had to edit my post afterwards, because I don't really understand your question.

Yes I meant the good life!
What the heck is up with this text service on here?
I typed all of my above message correctly , but it seems it's been translated into some kinda 10 yr old rant about Prince Backing Tracks ! Hahaha.

Anyway I try again....
Any guitarist /Singers out there using/have any of the above wanted backing tracks?

Cheers DW

The only official instrumental version of a Prince track ever released IIRC is Deborah Allen's Telepathy.

IDK nothing about karaoke versions (covers) but u can bet only the hits exist.

I have Betcha by Golly Wow from the Emancipation album. Not written by Prince (Stylistics I think) but its Prince's version albeit I've transposed it down a little to make it possible to sing for us mortals. I use it exercise my mid register. You are welcome to it by email if that helps.

The 101 thread reminded me that an instrumental version of Sheena's 101 was also released in 1989. There was also an instrumental of Patti Labelle's Yo Mister but it was of one the remixes. A few other remixes intrumentals of songs given to others were released in the 90's, Monie Love and Rosie Gaines come to mind out of the blue, not counting of course all the dub versions of various tracks' mixes including Letitgo, but if I'm not mistaken the only proper instrumental versions of an original version of a track are Telepathy and 101.
