Why I may never buy another Prince album again...

I'm not a fan of Jay-Z and don't want one penny of my money going towards him. But, if Prince keeps releasing his money on Tidal then I don't know what I am going to do. Is Prince ever going to distribute his own music again like he did back in the day? Will I ever be able to buy a physical copy of his album from somewhere? I haven't heard any of his new music because of this!

Okay cool, thanks for clearing this up. I guess I was confused and thought everything was on Tidal.

Just curious--do you routinely look into the execs and owners of music companies before making music purchasing decisions? Or is Jay-Z special because of the "almost have to be aware of him" level of public-ness of his life? Because a whole lot of music execs have a lot of issues, but I've never really thought about not buying an album because I don't like the head of the company.

Luckily, you don't have to make that choice right now with Prince, I guess.

When you buy a CD or download distributed by a major label or even Prince himself, you are making a rich person richer.

I like Tidal but I only go with downloads. I'm considering signing up if more artists migrate there and if I get a sound system that can stream flac files. The reason why I would say fans should support is because the output is good, If tidal is Prince's desired platform why not support it so it works for Prince.
What are you outraged about today? CNN has not told you yet?
