The Gold experience

Does anyone still have this CD? Wow I was in a really old record store tonight and I found it! It is still great! Opinions? Hard to find- really???

If anything from Prince in the 90s was a masterpiece - then it has to be The Gold Experience.

It's a a bit more expensive online than his Warner Bros albums but you can still pick it up for less than 20 dollars.

Still have the original CD... collecting dust. I think this and 'Diamonds and Pearls' are my least played Prince albums.

I love the album,but I agree that some songs are overproduced.I wish this album had been released in 1994,as he originally planned.The long delay convinced him to go back,re-work some of the songs and as a result,the album lost some of its rawness.Still a brilliant album,though.

Am I the only one who didn't like the title of this album? smile "The Gold Experience" is a really corny title to me.I think 'Days Of Wild' would have been an incredible title! Of course,it would have been great if he had kept that song on the album,too.

These two are also my least played...some decent songs though. Gold is overrated on the Org.
