But like, a healthier, vegetarian version of all that stuff. wink

.

P. looked great and he did a nice job presenting tonight. I could listen to that voice ALL DAY. Proud of our Mr. Nelson. cool

I don't agree and he's lost his mojo.

He used to have an aura, but that swagger is no where to be seen now and he's just like any other old-timer that age has finally beaten.

The excessive make-up and fro doesn't help. (Looks like a wig to me cause show me another 57 year old with a fro like that.)

When he walked out on stage there was none of the confidence that use to radiate so invincibly.

Makes me afraid of getting old!

-

He still sounds good, when he's singing the right songs.

He was looking just fine and anyone in the room would be lucky to have his stature when they are nearing 60.

This place is like a Nitpicking Centre, with people competing to assign fault for the slightest thing.

If he's a fashion model, you might have a point. He's a musician. Constructive criticism about his music to improve in his chosen profession is all that counts.

This appearances are a real shame. He should promote his material instead of doing silly awards to another. I guess he must be paid for that. By the way, it definitely looks like a wig, and it looks ridiculous. Remind me of MJ in the last years.

I like how he brought his guitar on stage with him, it was quite cute. Someone mentioned on facebook that it's maybe a hint to the piano tour being cancelled? Just food for thought I guess.

It's very simple.

The Weeknd has made some great and catchy soul songs that have been big hits.

D'Angelo made an incomprehensible, mumbling, poorly mixed album that only had any hype because of the stupidly long time it took to make it, and everybody promptly forget about it after 3 months. I didn't see anyone mention it after January of this year, on this forum. And now D'Angelo is back hiding in his hole, while The Weeknd continues to pump out great songs.

Hell, I don't even like The Weeknd that much. But listen to that bass drop at 44seconds. That's fucking killer. D'Angelo took 14 years and couldn't write one thing with as much impact. I'm listening to it on my studio monitors and it slams.

Prince at the American Music Awards – stylewatch

Head to toe in gold, with three-lens glasses, the pop star shines like a star at the awards ceremony

Prince, as everyone knows, is all kinds of awesome. He proved this once again this weekend when he appeared at the American Music Awards and promptly outshone host Jennifer Lopez’s all-singing, all-dancing opening routine, Harry Styles’ Ikea-ish flowery suit and Ariana Grande’s grandmother, the singer’s guest to the ceremony. Part of this shining ability comes from his clothes: a flute-sleeved mustard-hued poloneck with what looked liked eyeballs on both sleeves, matching flares puddling over heels and thigh-length gold alligator-style gilet. He resembled an afro-d pop star remade from the sun. Or an as-yet-unveiled relative of Princess Leia in the new Star Wars. Either way, equally mindblowing.

Then there’s the sunglasses. The sunglasses! Prince is so meta with these third-eye sunglasses, what with his band called 3rdeyegirl, that you think an actual eye on his forehead is not out of the realms of possibility. Add the kind of look that makes Blue Steel positively beta, and there you have it. Prince = awesome once again.
