Setlist suggestions for the upcoming piano tour! (Update: tour cancelled)

What songs would you like to see included in the setlist? Here's a few that I would like to hear:

"How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore?"

"I love you but I dont trust u anymore"

"Condition Of The Heart"

"Avalanche"

"Sometimes It Snows In April"

[Edited 11/16/15 10:27am]

RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

He needs to open with "One Nite Alone" - here is how it should go down.

Auditorium lights go off, all you see is a black silouhette of the piano, then Prince slowly walks out, also only visible as a black silouhette, sits down at the piano, starts up One Nite Alone, a purple spotlight slowly shines on Prince and the piano, from behind him, so he is a purple silohuette to the audience now, once it is full blast he starts the lyrics "in a purple spotlight, a figure 'plays' around, do you like the sound"?

Tell me the crowd would not go nuts with this intro! Whatever he does after that is cool, but that would be a killer opener.

It is seriously the absolute perfect opener. Are you ready for one nite alone with me? It doesn't get any better than that.

I think this would be a great set:

One Nite Alone

Venus De Milo

Noon Rendezvous

Pink Cashmere

The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker

I Love U In Me

When The Lights Go Down

There Is Lonely

Silly Game

Stollin

U Want Me

Power Fantastic

Scandalous

It's About That Walk

Breakdown

Free

Goodbye

Under The Cherry Moon

Eye Love U But Eye Don't Trust U Anymore

Starfish & Coffee

The Most Beautiful Girl In The World

A Case Of U

The Morning Papers

Do Me, Baby

Crimson & Clover

I Will

The Dance

Groovy Potential

The Ladder

The Question Of U

With You

Have A Heart

The Beautiful Ones

Adore

U're Gonna C Me

Condition Of The Heart

Sometimes It Snows In April

How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore

Purple Rain

I would much rather he perform these songs in their completion as opposed to a show filled with a non stop medley of edits. Perform a song, let folks applaud, start the next.

I'd LOVE to hear Let's Go Crazy and When Doves Cry on the piano!
And The Ballad of Dorothy Parker,
Starfish & Coffee...

I'd also love some Emancipation songs like Curious Child...
Or...
When I Lay My Hands on U

I U Hate U
Now wouldn't that be great?!

As long as it's not just the first verse and chorus befor segueing into the next song, I'm sure it'll be a plesant listening experience.

Always cry 4 love, never cry 4 pain.

I hope he opens with what he wants and ends with what he will.

Seriously, it's more interesting to not have any pre-conceived notions.

Especially leave at the door any hope he will perform songs barely anyone knows but super hardcore fans. If he does, he does and if he doesn't you were asking for something super you and it's about him and what he wants to do.

More like a prediction but..

Let's see he'll play the Baman tv show theme song, twilight zone tv show theme, Starfish and Coffee with an "AWW" at the end, an edited How Come You Don't Call Me, A Case Of You (because we just haven't heard that one enough), Adore, Take Me With You, Sign O The Times/Kiss/Let's Go Crazy beats, Darling Nikki (but psyche, not really), Head (changed to Bread for PC reasons), then he'll take a piss-break and return for questions from the audience, Anna Stesia, Purple Rain, When The Saints Go Marching In

Seriously as much as I love the rehearsal boots with Prince performing with just the piano and his voice,,, I can't see this type of show being anything but either lame or just bad. Anytime Prince singles out a piece of his greatness and spotlights it above his other talents it tends not to be great. He's a jack of all trades type. This tour is going to present his skills out of balance.

You just made me think how better it would be for him to record a song on stage. Even an already released one.

There are loop pedals, there's Ableton Live : Skipper could lay down the drums, the bass, the background vocals, etc.

Now that would be something.

The Colors R brighter, the Bond is much tighter
No Child's a failure
Until the Blue Sailboat sails him away from his dreams
Don't Ever Lose, Don't Ever Lose

Victor Wooten and Harts does that alot live. He has played with both of them so I am sure he has seen them do it. It is very easy to do on his end but very cool to see as a fan. I like that idea. Its better than that sampler medley crap that he does

It's a moot point, now.

Not cancelled. It was postponed after the terrorist attacks in Paris. Check the concert forum if you want to know more.

I've only seen loop pedals in use a few times. They bored me. It's a loop, it just keeps repeating itself. You can't have a bridge or a middle eight or any change in key, etc.

The only loop I've seen that was mildly entertaining was a guy that did "Hotel California". But that's a song with the exact same chord progression throughout each verse/chorus.

How would you record a version of, say, "Raspberry Beret" with a loop pedal?
