About the same time period, except that after the Gold Experience, I was out of touch with Prince world for about a decade.

Fan since 1999 & LRC in feb. 1983.....

Since I was 12 in 1984, so 31 years by now. My interested waned after not liking Emancipation at all, but got back to full fan modus after discovering Prince.org in 1999 or 2000.

I've been a fan since 1987, when i was 11 years old. So that makes 28 years.

Lost some interest between '92 and '97 but going to a concert in '98 sparked things up again.

The last year i have been moving toward only collecting and listening to older P stuff (pre-2014) and losing interest in new music.

2 years...i'm newbie and nobody will take me serious.

But hands down to all this years mentioned above , i'll read carefully what are you

I forgot to mention, that i get into Prince with 3121?Is that weird?But of course, later diving into his work made my being thirstier for him...for little and beautiful Prince.

26 years, started with the Batman album (seemed logical as I work with comics), my then gf had Purple Rain on a tape and that got me interested in checking his other recordings. bought 2 cassettes ;Around the world.. completely surprised me and Love Sexy sealed the deal. After that I started buying everrything I could find.

My Prince fever reached it's height around the Gold experience. Damn those were exciting times. these days I still enjoy his new music. just love it that he has all these different styles. Makes every release a surpise...

I jumped on the bandwagon in 1984 and never jumped off.

I am been a fan since the beginning - as it is for the general public: with the initial release of For You.
