Marz ... And the other planets? Has Prince mentioned all the planets in the solar system in his songs yet? "Planet Earth" "third apartment (or Dept?) from the sun... Heaven on Earth" (Free Urself) "'Venus' de Milo'" Amazing to think MrNasty/double entendre hasn't slipped "Uranus" isn't a song.... But has he mentioned Jupiter, Saturn or Pluto? Whenever I get distracted by the discordant output or pay too much/any attention to the shrill haters (who have the disease of never being happy), I focus on the sheer brilliance of songs like Marz and I'm reminded that all is alright in the Prince universe. On the song When We're Dancing Close & Slow, the ending guitar part sounds like stars twinkling and the synthesizer makes a circular whooshing sound like a comet orbiting around the solar system. Beautiful beyond words, celestial. "So fierce U look 2night, the brightest star pales 2 Ur sex..." | |
