The way i see it..

This is more about Prince having another ally to say nice things about him on national tv..

Prince getting people on his side to praise everything he does is nothing new.. He did the same with Jester.. wouldn't surprise me if Prince sent signed cd copies to Questlove and invitations to jam and eat dinner with him to have Quest praise Prince all the time.. wouldn't surprise me either if he is behind some of the things Kcoolmusic posts.. This brainwashing and mind manipulation through other people is getting silly and obvious to me.. How about him releasing great albums again and promoting them himself proudly instead of depending on all these people to say nice things about him all the time..

It has been said by many former associates, that Prince is very competitive.
Which would mean that he DOES want big sales and hits.

Who knows, maybe he got over that, which is a healthy thing.

But not promoting your own stuff at all or in a half-assed way, making it look

like you don't even care about your own music.... well, that's the other extreme.
