I believe so, it was widely rumoured that it was Prince who got Brian May into badgers.

Great news for any fan of QUEEN: worship

^I have just ordered this set, the whole catalogue from Queen, on coloured vinyl LP's... AMAZING.

Imagine if Prince did this to 1978-1995 His WB catalogue?? biggrin

1. Jazz (wow, this is my fave of them all, wonderful!)
2. A night at the opera (Classic)
3. The game
4. The works
5. Innuendo
6. A kind or magic (amazing, very underrated imo)
7. Made in heaven (great album as well, came after Freddie Mercury had died.. sad )

Wow, that looks fantastic! I love Queen, I was obsessed with them from '81 to '92, but never got to see them live, I was only 12 when they last toured, but I did go to Wembley for the Freddie tribute gig.. News of the world is my favourite album (at the moment anyway).

Wonderful item, they should really do CD's as well. I loved them back in the day too and Freddie Mercury was one of the greatest showmen ever.

.

I can bet this would be really expensive as well ($200+)

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

That is a fabulous package. I love the colored vinyl. Freddie would be beside himself.

.

I have all of Queen's albums up to The Game. Loved every one of them. Went through a serious Queen phase for a minute. If it weren't for P. making me listen to so much of his music I might consider making the Queen Collection a Christmas gift to myself this year. cool

And we would all pay that and more to get something similar for Prince's catalogue would we?

All very nice, but none of it answers the question. As far as I know P & Q never met.

Since Prince has 30+ Albums it would probabaly cost a fair bit.

IF it ever happeend, they could split it like they are doing with Davie Bowie's, I think the first one due soon with 10 albums in is around £300. He had about 25 studio albums I believe?

I remember reading that Freddie Mercury went nuts for Prince and would have Prince's Parade Tour playing at his parties.

I've read somewhere that Brian May is a fan of Prince and even attended one or few of his concerts.

Goddamnit...what have you done? Really can't justify spending so much money right now, but that is just awesome!

Queen are my favorite band of all time...my first two CD's as a kid were Queen's Greatest Hits 2 and, of course, Thriller biggrin

Don't think P and Queen ever met personally, but I think Prince dug them, at least a bit...I mean he opened his Superbowl performance with We will rock you and Three Chains o' Gold almost sounds like Prince's take on Queen's operatic rock...at least to my ears biggrin
