Are they honest enough to do that though? I think it's a horrendous album. It's obviously sooo desperate to reach a younger audience. Hence Joshua, so sad. It doesn't sound like a Prince production at all, His own artistry out of the window or just thrown under the bus. For what?

I think HITNRUN is an excellent album. I've been a Prince fan since Controversy and I believe that this and Art Official Age are some of his best work's since Diamonds and Pearls. Prince's music has always been a fusion of era's and genre's,so in the 80's when music and fashion were diverse Prince's music reflected that. Nowadays music in general is quite sterile, look at the top artists: Bieber, Cyrus,Minaj,Jay Z etc, it's no wonder that Prince's music suffers as a result by comparison to earlier works with crap like that being popular. However, listen to one of Prince's "weak" albums and then listen to the crap on the radio and Prince is still godlike. | |

its like prince didnt have anything to do with the album. he gave free rein and stuff from the vault, i like acouple but some are just not listenable.to bad | |
