My friends and relatives are adults - they can listen to whatever they want to listen to.

I don't really try to shy away from sex and stuff re: music and parents. I mean fucking is how I got here...sooo.

That said, I do try to keep Sexy MF off of my parents radar, unsuccessfully. My dad will sing that shit in public. My mom sings along to it. It feels strange. Hearing a sixty summin y/o woman singing "sexy motherfucker shakin that ass!". And my dad will usually find some kind of way to incorporate it into a random conversation with someone who's juuust this side of a stranger. I think my dad has committed himself to being the 'dirty ol' man' his father/my grandfather was.

They've heard em all cuzza me. Pussy control, scarlet pussy, etc. I listen to anything around them, they're open minded and fun people. It's just nothing else really took off with them besides that Sexy MF shit.

Anything including and after Rave, everything else before it is fair game. "X is for adults only, let's do something frightening." - my mother was like "oh thats clever", little brother could care less.

i play anything, i was born 27 years ago in Mexico, so most of the people if not averyone does not understand by listen to, so my mother has been told by me about Prince's lyrics, and she laughs about it, not big deal for her.

I saw Come on vinyl in a record shop once and didn't buy it because I knew I'd probably never play it out loud unless my parents weren't in the house lol. So yeah.

That and Jughead. I'll spear them.

Not in front of my parents, Erotic City , Jack U Off , Scarlet Pussy and Pussy Control. Purple and Gold not in front of myself.

Nothing I wouldn't let my friends or parents listen 2 (that's not to say they'd always approve) but I am selective about what my kids hear. They know a vast amount of P's catalogue but with my oldest only 8 and my twins aged 4 I do audit their playlist so they don't know things like Pussy Control, Come, Jack U Off etc... Their current favourite is Days of Wild (live in Montreal), though thankfully they don't understand the lyrics. I do love it when we're all together in the car singing 'one mo' jam' etc...

Not quite related, but I once played "Fuck Tha Police" for my mom real loud while she was making me breakfast in college. The memory of her bobbing her head while she scrambled my eggs is a keeper. But I digress.

"The memory of her bobbing her head while she scrambled my eggs is a keeper." - I totally realize this sounds very inappropriate. So be it.
