relationship with synths

Prince without synth would be ore conventional regular artist. If he didnt replace horns with Oberheim stabs Minneapolis Sound would not exist.first six albums were dominated by synths.if was his weapon of choice. But after 1985 Prince stop using those warm fuzzy analog synths and replaced them with crappy digital synths like Roland d50,korg m1 and his music never sounded the same.every synth player from Nick Rhodes to Bernie Worrel,Junie Morrison still use some of the legendary vintage synths.everyone except Prince.Wonder why Prince is choosing to record and play romplers, digital shitty motifs instead of the real thing? Does he really think it sounds better?
