I don't think all of what he wore was real leather. The Kiss jacket for example doesn't look like it has the right weight to it to be real, compared to his GB jacket that looks like it has a fair amount of weight.

I actually remember reading something on here ages ago that he really started disliking people who wore leather.

You're right. IMO, Prince's facial structure (very narrow/thin) benefits from long/big hair. I like his short hairstyles too, but longer hair works better.
