The new version of "Shake!"

Just heard the (very poor quality) bootleg of the Washington DC second show.

The new version of "Shake!" is great! Really more blues/glam vibe to it, kinda reminds me of "Cream" a bit more.

I don't dislike the original Time version from GB, but this version is a lot better. It grooves more.

It would be cool to have a rehearsal jam of this from Paisley.

I'm glad he pulled this one back out.

Wow, I didn't pick up on that Cream vibe until you mentioned it. Very cool. I love the new version! Great resurrection, Prince.

Shake was always a favourite of mine, even above some of the Prince tracks on GB. That and Cool he should have kept for himself.

I think the keyboard organ sound is quite similar isnt it?

I like the guitar on "Shake". It's minimal, but classy.

Is the Shake! maxi single worth getting? I've never heard any of the remixes cos I generally dislike the song.

Don´t have it any more, but i bought it when it was released. remixes weren´t very special, its very early 90´s house. Its like the Round and Round maxi.
