Has Prince ever worn a tie with a suit? I don't think I've ever seen Prince wear a conventional suit and tie. Maybe he doesn't want to constrict the blood flow to his brain? | |

The one that first comes to mind is the yellow polka dot suit. The tie was the inverse colors - a black tie with yellow polka dots. |

I don't know what it is but that pic creeps me out I don't know whether it's the toys the custom furniture the wall paint or what Prince looks great in this pic  but that room just doesn't seem right to me  All of this and more is 4 u. It's the shoulder pads and odd angles that I am laughing at - nothing else. The personal nature of the photo is certainly a tragedy and took courage to include in the album booklet. I hope it's obvious that the chuckles are completely unrelated to anything having to do with the photo's back story. If not, I am here to apologize. I have 2 children of my own, and a mere fever for either of them is no laughing matter. Losing the chance to care for them at all would be unthinkable. I've always found that photo funny in a good way because it's so jarring to see Prince in a shirt and tie. (The same as seeing him wearing a sweater and looking "normal" around the Rave/TRC era is several pics!) Seeing the toy room in the background for the first time in a long while was a jolt for me because I remembered only the shirt and tie, not the background and context. Yeah, with my own daughter being only several weeks old, I can't even imagine the pain Prince went through. My heart aches for the guy. But the goofy picture is more evidence that Prince can rock some business wear, albeit sans jacket! I can't think of another instance of him wearing just a shirt and tie. I shouldn't even say that because some Orger is going to post like 40 pics to prove me wrong. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"
