2009 Three Shows in One Night -- Only One in Soundboard?

I love the 2009 three shows, three bands, one night performances Prince did. I have one of them in soundboard, but the other two only in audience quality. Are they available in soundboard? [Im NOT asking for a copy or hints where to find them!] The show with the power trio is particularly amazing. It should've been an official live release! Casual listeners would be in awe of Prince if they heard these shows.

Which one you have in soundboard? I've got the shows somewhere but think mine are all audience.

The Club Nokia show is on soundboard. Eye Records (puke) released it as L.A. Confidential.

I had the audience version, so it's really good to hear the show in this quality, some nice rare performances too, good set list. Doesn't beat the rock show from the same night for me but still very good.

The first two shows are circulating in soundboard, indeed.

.

His performance of All This Love is hands-down-freaking-incredible.

.

These shows rank up there with his all-time great concerts. There is no disputing that.

You're mixing up the Montreux DVDs with the LA shows...

Marco81 is correct - 'All This Love' was not performed during the 3 shows in LA (the last of which circulates in soundboard, the other two as audience recordings):

http://www.princevault.co...ch,_2009-1

http://www.princevault.co...ch,_2009-2

http://www.princevault.co...h,_2009-am

It was played in the first of the two Montreux shows (both of which circulate in soundboard):

http://www.princevault.co...ly,_2009-1

Sorry - I misunderstood the question. thought King was asking about Montreaux shows in particular, not the 3 shows in one night LA performances.

My bad for getting hopes up. boxed

.

MONTREUX. Spell it like you say it, which is with a sound similar to "uh" not "oh".

Just click your heels together and repeat three times after me, "there's nothing like soundboard"...

Thanks, Bart. Not trying to perpetuate poor spelling on the org, promise. Or misinformation about soundboard recordings, for that matter.

No, it's not "Montroh". It's spelled "eux", not "eaux". See also: deux, which is pronounced "duh" not "doh".

Never heard it pronounced montruh but apparently it can be.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXDHfIabVjM

But Claude Nobs pronounced it Montroh when he spoke at the end of Prince's shows in 2009, so that's good enough for me.

Never in my 45 years had I heard it pronounced montruh until I heard it on that youtube vid and it sounds so wrong.

Just out of interest Bart, what's your native language?

Dutch, learned French when I was a child because it is required because it is Belgium's other language, then learned English and German (and Spanish).

Only the one soundboard from the 3 shows unfortunately. I would love to have the guitar show in perfect quality, its an amazing show (As is the Indigo power trio aftershow in 2007. Alas, also not in soundboard quality.).

However, what I really want to know about these 3 shows... Was it a fun night?

It's Cointreau, by the way.

.

Which I first drank when I was four or so, when my dad thought it would be funny to let me drink a bit of his. Which caused my mom to freak out a while later because I was "acting funny" and she thought I'd had a stroke or something (she didn't know my dad had given me booze).

The other 2 shows from that day do exist as proshot videos. One of the ideas was that Prince was going to make them availible to watch on the Lotus Flower site. Unfortunately he really wasn't happy anout how they all turned out. I was offered the rock gig on video in 2010 but I took a pass on it because the person wanted way too much for it. I'm surprised those 2 shows haven't surface by now. Ditto the Montreux show from 2007 hasn't popped up either. There's also 2 3121 Vegas shows that are proshot that are in some fans hands but have yet to circulate as well.

This stuff should all leak. If anyone has it and needs to check the quality, I'm happy to help. Just like send it to me and I'll give my honest assessment.
