Awesome! I love having a show I was at. Although it's shorter, I'll take it over the Baltimore live stream any day.

That is just an edit of the actual performance of the song, but still great.

Prince shares soundboard recording of Paisley Park concert — listen

on May 13, 2015, 4:12am
.

A couple weeks back, Prince invited fans to Paisley Park, his home/studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota, for a concert dubbed Dance Rally 4 Peace.

Fans were alerted of the surprise concert via social media, and were encouraged to wear the color gray in honor of Freddie Gray, the Baltimore man who was allegedly killed while in police custody.

Now, Prince has shared a full soundboard recording of the concert, which you can stream below.

The setlist saw Prince and 3rdEyeGirl perform “Chaos & Disorder”, “Dreamer”, “Crimson & Clover”, and “Guitar”. The encore included “PLECTRUMELECTRUM” and a cover of The Waterboys’ “The Whole of the Moon” featuring Prince playing bass.

Well that too but I kinda meant the "sharing is caring" vibe...

May THAT continue...it takes Prince a second to decide on sharing while the impact his decision has will last forever. In a very good way, so props to him as it's very much deserved!

.

And now here it comes, and I won't use this word very often, but I think this concert and stream qualify a MASTERPIECE tag. There...I said it! razz

Very true. He is interacting more with the band this time 'round. Sounds more authentic than the previous 3rdEyeGirl tour(s).

Listening to it now, Chaos was really amazing and Dreamer is sounds wonderful stripped back and dominated by P's solo.

One complaint - Soundcloud compression. Put it up on 3eg.com and I'll be happy to pay.

This on top of Baltimore stream. For someone who's only had the opportunity to witness one concert, this is a treat. Imagine all the recordings that could be made available, by legal means smile

You mean by alien means...?

As for the concert: meh, even more boring than the Boston concert.

Always great to hear a free Prince concert. Love it. I'm no audiophile; compression doesn't mean anything to me. It sounds great to my ears.
