Well, if Prince sanctioned and released it , it is a legitimate official release, isn´t it? I mean, how much more official can it get? Especially in this day and age where physical CDs don´t seem to mean anything to anyone anymore. (I am a huge fan of physical CDs , by the way). Both of #1 and #2 have been around in quality similar to "All My Dreams" and "Others Here With Us" since probably 91. Though the "OF4S" #2 with the added Clare Fischer stings was always harder to find compared to #1. | |

As far as 'Old Friends 4 Sale', I prefer the unreleased, bare bones(Piano, bass guitar, drums, keyboard) music version, no orchestra. Hopefully, one day Prince will release that version!
