How many Orgers have never seen Prince live?

Just curious. I've seen him 40+ times myself but wondered how many orger's haven't had their + sign today.

I attended a couple shows on his Lovesexy tour and have seen his concerts right up thru December 2013.

My biggest regret is missing the Purple Rain tour because I was too young.

Ok I have seen Prince live 19 times since the Sign O The Times Tour 1987 in Göteborg, Sweden. Also in Germany, Holland and England during the 90's and 00's.

My last Prince concert was in 2010, in Herning Denmark.

My regret was not to see the Parade tour in Denmark 1986, I never knew about the concert until I read the reviews in the papers.

I missed the Lovesexy phenom . I first saw him in SF act I in 93 & have made up for lost time ever since . It's nice living close to LA. Biggest regret besides missing the 88 era was driving across the GG Bridge & hearing he showed up at The DNA lounge to play which had become a legendary aftershow.

Never seen him live. Too young in the 80s, not interested in the 90s, in Australia since 2000 and didn't actually become a fan until 2014 anyway.

My going out years were all about nightclubs, where people mingled and did their thing. Concerts were, to me, at that time, all about focussing on a few musicians on one side of the room rather than the people around you (this was before DJs were treated like stars). So I haven't actually been to many full-on concerts at all, not just Prince ones.

I've seen him live...but the last time was about 12 years ago! So, it's been so long that it seems like I've never seen him. Does that count?

I live in Tennessee!

I have only seen him once, and that was 21 years into my fandom. Prince has NEVER come to New Zealand and at 56, probably never will.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

Well, given that he''s only been to Australia 3 times and only the three major cities, I can't say I've had much of a chance.

I live in A Coruña, Spain. He played here in '91 and I've seen the video online, though I doubt he'll be back anytime soon.

He said "La Coruña" rather than "A Coruña" during the concert, and I'll never forgive him for missing that opportunity to revindicate the status of Iberian minority languages!

Saw him Chicago in 2012? i think maybe 2013 and wish I hadn't spent all the money for it. One of the worst shows I have ever seen. He came on late, took an hour break in the middle of the show and after people booed and left after sitting in the dark for an hour and then the house lights came one he came back out after people left. He played just about all covers and most of the crowd including myself was pissed. One of the worst shows and I would not pay big bucks to ever see him again if I even see him again. He is overated to me. Just saw Billy Idol and Living Colour as of lately and both of them absolutely blow his out the water!! I like some of his music but live he is lacking to me.

Could you explain this? Me too, I always thought it was La.

If he did, I'd go! Imagine him playing with African musicians... That would be something totally different.

Sure. 'La Coruña' is Spanish whilst 'A Coruña' is Galician, which is the other official language in this part of Spain. My post's a joke of course! There's no reason for Prince to know or care about that kind of thing.

Yes, I realized you were joking, you just made me curious. English sailors used to call it The Groyne.

Every time he's been to New Orleans since 1985, 1nce in N.Y. W2A, and guesting with Liv Warfield at HOB last July.
Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

2 and a half times for me.

Lovesexy in Oakland in the early 80's or whenever that was and Jam of the Year in the mid-90's in Albuquerque.

The "half" time? The opening night of the Musicology tour when P set it up to play via satellite hookup from LA at theaters across the country; Albuquerque again.

I gotta say that I really liked the Albuquerque show the best. It was a multi-camera shoot with lots of close up shots you would never get to see in a live show. The sound was great, no crowd to stand up in front of me making me stand if I wanted to see. No parking charges or problems, no crowd shuffle leaving the theater.

Yeah, it wasn't "live" in the truest sense of the word, but I'd seen him live twice already so I didn't feel like I was missing anything at all.

I haven't seen him live. Then again, he hasn't performed in the state of Virginia since 2001. I was too young when he toured VA back in the 80s. And too broke when he came to Richmond and Norfolk in the early 00's lol If he ever decides to do a show in VA (Northern VA, Richmond, or Norfolk/Va Beach) or DC soon, I'd gladly go. I'm a little less broke now biggrin

I've seen him twice and a half. First time in 1987 at a Black Radio Exculsive concert, he passed by me and George Clinton on his way to perform [I didn't have enough pull or cash then to get admitted to the concert]. I saw him in 1988 at the L.A. Colessium in support of "Lovesexy" it was an "ok" concert but lacked the focus he had in the concert I missed due to illness....that killer "Controversy" set at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in 1981.

Finally, I saw him at the Roseland Theater here in Portland, OR with 3RDEYEGIRL and it was absolutely rapturous. Completely packed, very fresh and raw due to it being a rock show....not an r & b show....totally face melting and incidiary. Everyone from middle-aged to some 20-somethings wanting to know who this cat really is. Been blessed to have seen him twice, for rock shows the 3RDEYEGIRL set was only matched to the Living Colour set I saw in 1993 at the Warwick in San Francisco. It was THAT good!

I've only seen him in NC, during the Welcome 2 tour. The stadium wasn't even half full, but the show was so hot it's a miracle that building's still standing.

I've only seen him once, 2004 Musicology Tour at Staples Center. He made that huge space feel so intimate with the in the round set up. I live in Alaska, he was going to perform here years ago but cancelled, so not likely I'll see him here. I would definitely travel to see him again, hopefully this year.
