Sabotage and Eye Records

Are these 2 bootleg labels still releasing CDS, or have they disappeared?

I'm sure more knowledgeable members of this forum will be able to provide you with more information, but afaik Eye Records is still releasing stuff, while Sabotage isn't.

I can indeed confirm that Sabotage Records does have a few things in their pipeline for planned release this year. Some of the titles are Sound and Vision Volume 14 (covering the years 2011-2012), Sound and Vision Volume 15 (covering 2013) and Volume 7 of their City Lights Remastered and Extended series, this time covering The 1988/1989 Lovesexy tour. This one will be interesting because it will include two previously uncirculating soundboard Lovesexy shows, both from Paris and Milan. Milan 7-19-1988 will make up the first part of the show, and Paris 7-8-1988 will make up the second part of the show, combined together to make one full show.

I've heard "Housequake" from the Milan show, and I've heard the soundboard Paris show and I think this will be a great release. The highlights for me are the full version of "When 2 R In Love" and "Positivity" from Paris.

Now, before anyone asks, NO I am not in any way affiliated with Sabotage Records, and NO I don't know when the release date is supposed to be. Of course, this can all change but as far as I know, it's still going to happen. This info was shared with me back in November around the time of all of those leaks and I even saw a flyer for it in one of my emails.

Thanks! Yes, now that I read your post, I remember the City Lights 6, of the Sign tour, and the next installment (Lovesexy) was announced there. I'm glad it'll come out this year.

hi, thank you for this information I really appreciate it. do you know if anything else is scheduled for this year with uncirculating outtakes? i heard about one which includes the 1984 one however im wondering when roughly that will be released? How long do you think it will be until the things that are in private collectors' hands dry up and are all available to the public whilst everything else is vault only? How long is 'When 2 R in Love' I thought that was always a brief piano medley?

Sweet, thanks for the info, given your information about the City Lights Volume 7 I'm very happy to be proven wrong about Sabotage. The Lovesexy Paris show was supposed to materialise in September last year, but it never did, so glad to hear it's still on the cards for release. May I ask why Sabotage isn't releasing the whole Paris and Milan shows, do only the halves exist, or are they truncating the soundboards? That seems a bit weird if so, obviously the setlists are gonna be nigh on identical, but it's still rather odd to hold back uncirculating material.

Although I guess Sabotage have done this kind of thing in the past, mixing different shows together to give the best "complete" show.

As far as any info on any uncirculating outtakes, I don't have any concrete info. I've heard that there will be a lot more leaks of studio outtakes, but I don't know what will be leaked or when anything will be leaked. As I said before, I have no affiliation with Sabotage. The info I shared earlier is what I was told and that is all I was told. I'm in the dark about this as much as anyone else outside of the "elite" lol

As far as "When 2 R In Love" goes, it is performed in full with the band, and lasts over 6 minutes, though the first minute or so is just Prince "cooing" into the mic and talking. The music doesn't kick in until about 1:15.

I really don't know why only half of both shows are being released. From what I was told about the Paris soundboard, the person who had that tape only had the second part of the show, they never had the first part. I'm guessing that might be the same reason with the Milan show. I don't know if the tapes come from the same person or what, but it is kinda strange to just release half of a show.
