It's funky and soulful, with catchy songs, lyrics and interesting aural landscapes and futuristic concepts. It just a deliciously otherworldly kind of awesome, in true unpredictable Prince style. That's Art Official Age to me.

In between, you get a sort of low key space age Lovesexy.
Buy it and pick up Black Messiah while you're at it.
