It's Prince's job to promote his albums and get the remasters ready.

Not surprising. People seem to be measuring Prince's new album on some kind of sliding scale, giving him a pass because he's a older legend, but AOA is nowhere near as good as a lot albums released this year

They haven't yet announced the Album of the Year noms, which seems to be the most likely category for AOA.

Taylor Swift, U2 and even a dead Michael Jackson stand more chance than Prince of winning. Hell, if Joyce brought something out, she probably would too. I hope Joyce wins. Or Susan Boyle.

Is that the Brazilian singer Joyce whom your referring to? Because I can't think of who else that could mean at the moment.

I don't think she's from Brazil somehow.

You're absolutely wrong.

we'll see...you all realize that The Grammys have a history of awarding legendary artists PAST work with Album of the Year nominations, right? Joni Mitchell's Turbulent Indigo, Steely Dan's Two Against Nature, Dylan's Time Out of Mind, McCartney's Flaming Pie. These weren't CLOSE to the respective artists best work, but they got the nod anyway. That being said, AOA certainly fits the criteria. And it's a DOPE album.

It's a present day music awards show, what do you expect? Even so, no AOA for Album of the Year.

I expect better taste. There are far better albums than the crap nominated for Album of the Year.

Bernhoft's nomination for Best R&B album is great. Check out Islander, and his other albums dating back to 2008.

Ceramik City Chronicles

1: Man 2: Band (awesome double-album recording of him doing solo work live with a loop machine and with a full band)

Solidarity Breaks

Walk With Me (live with an orchestra)

Islander

With those expectations, you're setting yourself up for disappointment every time. Just sayin.
