Where's The "Big City" Album?

Does anyone know if Prince is still planning on releasing the NPG album with "Big City" and all those other great tracks?

Prince said no.

I think 'Prince & the Band' could also find a home on an album like that! I know it's older but I really want more JB funk from P.

I heard he is going to combine it with 'Roadhouse Garden' into a double album. So you have 'stone' and 'green' together, which is in keeping with his Jehova Witness vegan-outlook.

The Roadhouse Garden half will appear on WB records and the Big City Half on K-Stone records, a small Kenian label.

Sources say it will appear in bargain bins all around the world in time for Christmas, but they conveniently left out the year.

Except that he's not vegan anymore, he's back to being a vegetarian.

Moonbeam Levels will undoubtedly be the lead single.

Not even a vegetarian. According to his own words he doesn't "mess with red meat", meaning he probably eats fish, chicken etc. these days.

I strongly suspect we are not going to hear from Prince for a very long time... AOA and PE were his final goodbye as he locks himself away in silence with his masters safely tucked away under his pillow. All alone, the heating off in all the rooms of PP except the recording studio, kitchen and bedroom, no band members, no friends, no internet and every single new song created will go straight into the vault. Howard Hughes the 2nd.... biggrin

I actually do believe that Prince writes and recordes a lot of music without having any intention of releasing it. Straight for The Vault, so to speak. In some ways he's like an outsider artist.

The wooh is on the one!
