What happened to Foefurs follow up to In The Mix?

Foefurs In The Mix is really quite an exceptional peice of work. Fantastic mix that covers a huge spectrum of Prince's catalogue. But it was done in what, 2000? A re-edit was released in 2008 but didnt include newer era material. There was also talk of a follow up, but as far as I know, it hasnt (yet) come to fruition.

Has anyone asked Mr DJ Foefur whether it is still on the cards? I think the latest songs on In The Mix came from Emancipation, so there is a wealth of material to use after that for another ass kicking 70 minute mix.

Perhaps like many fans Foefur has walked away from Prince and is no longer interested? Or perhaps there has been a cease and desist from Prince?

I don't know what happened, but man, that mix was the BOMB. He also did several non-Prince mixes of old school Funk, R&B, Electro, circa 1978-1984.

Yeah, I heard that some agents of Prince got to him, and he has 'disappeared'.

What a shame, he should have taken a hint from Depeche Mode - so many remixes, and often very interesting ones.

that's f'd up if P's ppl disuaded him from doing art. his mix was ingenious. I was hoping he'd do part II and bring it up to date. most comprehensive, continuous P mix ever!

You are correct, my mistake... All Mixed Up is the correct title.
