What would a Black Album Anniversary Lp look like?

All my life I had to fight getting a good clear Black Album...never actually owning the disc i may add..just bootlegs and cassette..and download..but got me thinking it has been 25 years...what would a special edition have on it? Thinking of making my own playlist.

I do have the unreleased version of Super... And i hear the instrumental was on an Ahdio show (not avail anymore either). He did perform that and Bob George live so maybe those could go on it.

What do u think?

I have this on CD.

I used to have a cassette copy which was a dub of a dub of a... - It was the best copy I owned. It sounded filthy.

It's pretty clear there is never going to be an anniversary edition. Prince took a million dollars for WB for it's release at the time - while maintaining he was "spiritually against it".

Are you asking what other songs were recorded around the time and would have fit?

The Black Album Pt2 = Come IMO.

a dark mysterious background, so hard to say what it would look like but what it is.

My boot cd from the late 80's has "it's long and black like my arm" on it in Spanish, if I'm remembering correctly. Decent quality. My first boot on cd. cool

My first bootleg ever... Found it on cd in 1990 at a used record shop in l.a. My copy came with "In All My Dreams" and "Old Friends For Sale"...both were tacked on at the end...quite amazing additions .so this was my black album configuration for years... Hard for me to think of the album without those 2 gems now...

I'm so lucky my mother was a Prince fan. When I started listening to Prince, I looked through every draw and cupboard to find Prince CDs and records.
Then one day When I thought I found every Prince record in my house, I found this old white cupboard in my storeroom and inside, right at the back of it, amongst all this junk is where I found the Legendary Black Album, wrapped in clear plastic. I was a new fan and I had never heard of the black album and I didn't know what to expect. And after that day it was one of my all time favourite albums. razz haha good days.
