I'm not near as disappointed as most of you. It's great news that he's finally getting out there promoting the album. Plus it's gonna be awesome to see him on SNL with Chris rock.

Only THEY were tweeting it was tour news, going off Doc's news last week of tour info forthcoming.

Telling us we are going to need babysitters and practicly begging us to follow them. The account has had nothing and what should be cool news of him being on SNL is highly underwhelming. Don't promote so hard or get us excited for tour news. So done. If #PaisleyParkOfficial, it still really remains to be seen. So upset right now.

They will be using the SNL performances as a launch for the tour. Typically when artists have a big national TV performance it is followed with a tour announcement shortly after. Look for Prince and the girls to get out of the harsh Minnesota winter in January and visit your city!

Yes, the problem was with that @purplessence account (which I have now unfollowed). There were no tweets from @3rdeyegirl saying to expect a tour announcement.

This is good news, just not the news we were expecting based on all the hype from @purplessence, which seems to have been aimed at getting more followers for that account. Now that account has lost credibility.

I wish the SNL show would be sooner before AOA falls of the charts like PE already did.

The 2nd week numbers are in, if he did the show next week or the week after he could boost the sales and get back in the top 20 again. But in one month he'll surely be out of the top 100.

The 1989 appearance was for the 15th anniversary special, which aired on a Sunday and is not considered an episode.

That information actually came from a Warner Brother's press release, he was just passing along the info.

Yes. He should've done SNL this week or maximum next week before AOA completely falls off the chart. AOA is now at #24 and PE is already out of the TOP 50 in only the 2nd week.
