Usher mentions Prince as a Major influence!!

Usher is amazed at how Purple Rain was started as a club per4mance! He wants to model his career now like that. Starting @ 10:31. Eye love it when artist like Usher give props when it's due to prince . prince still influences so many artist.

By the way "The Breakfast Club" is my favorite innerview show! Charlemagne tha God who is like the black Howard Stern is my favorite innerviewer. Even though he didn't appear on this show.

eye will ALWAYS think of prince like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. eye mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that prince wasn't of this earth, eye would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. prince

Wow. That must be really terrible for Prince to know that he may have helped inspire and unleash upon the world a no-talent ass-clown like Usher.

This is how you know you're back at Warner Bros. All of a sudden a lot of current major stars keep bring up Prince, and his classic records.

the problem is so many mahor male artist expres a interest in working with prince from usher 2 lil wayne yet prince makes it clear he dont really like working with men. long before he even thought of going back 2 warner they have reached out in innerviews about their love 4 prince and he seems 2 ignore them.fantasia is one artist that brings him up alot as well.

Usher?

We're using the term "artist" incredibly loosely these days .

Hey, watch it Steakfinger! no no no! Without Michael Jackson around, Usher needs another black musical elder to look up too. At least it's Prince, FFS!

I swear, some of your diehard Prince-fans are really stuck up your own asses at times. disbelief lol

......and Usher is still practicing on the bass guitar. nod Instead of hating, people need to give Usher credit for trying to reinvent himself.

At 10:30 he really just speaks about how Purple Rain was played live before an audience and how he wants to use that type of an "in the moment" approach himself too.

Did he mention Prince later during the interview? (I'm not going to watch it all, because I'm hardly a fan) If he doesn't the thread title is misleading and it's not what he talks about.
