New song on Sunday Night Football

I heard 'Fix ur Life Up' during tonight's NFL game leading into a commercial break. It was a surprise and sounded awesome. No vocals. It was an instrumental section.

Yep I heard it too. It was cool to hear.

.

As the OP said it was an instrumental selection of the song. (part of the song with no vocals)

Not full instumental version.

They used Funk N Roll extensively on last week's Thursday Night Football (Packers - Vikes) pre-game show too cool

Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

I heard it too. Back in 1996 NFL on FOX used a song from his Emancipation (WE GET UP i think thats the name of that song) album as the intro to the San Francisco 49ers vs Carolina Panthers NFC West showdown.

wow. isn't the point of getting these songs on TV to sell records? I can't imagine this song being very enticing.

It's kind of an ego thing when songs, that are not hit singles, get licensed for pro-sports broadcasts and arenas. It's low hanging fruit. It's an easy get for a major label artist. It's like checking off the boxes on a to-do list. Yeah, these fuckers are all at war over something, we just don't know what.

Seeing as how the vox r whiney and petulant, and the lyrics r silly...I agree. 4 ke, the song is stellar, till prince chimes in. I wonder what hanna might have sounded like on vox here.
