Do you think Prince is going tour the new albums primarily?

Will his old stuff get pushed to the back or reduced to medley status?

Yeah, I hope so, too. He has two albums worth of material to work with. He seems really proud of the work so I hope his tours reflect that.

Nope. He hasn't toured an album in a long long time

I got two sides... and they're both friends.

More than likely it'll come down to how well they sell. A few of the PE songs are already in the setlists. AOA has yet to see any live performances I think? Songs like WBH would work on the piano... others could be added to the sampler set. I think the album has got a warm reception so that could also encorage him.

Of course not. There's no way these albums are going to have the same impact as the old ones did. He may do Breakdown and FunkNRoll, but then he'll go into another Sly &the Family Stone medley, ladies and gentlemen, show your love, Shelby J!!!!

His ass belongs to WB through December, he has to focus on the PR reissue. Here's hoping he talks them into adding some 3EG versions of Computer Blue and Darling Nicholas (Hannah singing lead) LOL.

He might play a song or two from AOA, but that's it.

As much as I love the 1980s music

I hope he does promote his new music mix in some 20Ten and LotusFlower

and a few connected songs from his 1997-2007 albums

ok to throw in a 'Hit'

Highly doubt it. At least the Art Official Age tracks.

The AOA tracks have been played over the PA before the recent live shows - thats the promo for that album sorted. It's the PlectrumElectrum tracks, and more importantly 3rdEYEGIRL that have featured in the actual shows AND last nights livestream. It doesn't strike me that he's terribly bothered about AOA, more that it may have been a record he needed to make to satisfy Warners.

I can't see P ditching 3rdEYEGIRL and creating a new band for a AOA focussed tour. The songs are too electronic, they're not suitable for 3rdEYEGIRL or NPG. Josh in a dj booth pressing play on a back track perhaps...

The last time he did that was 1994, and it was because he was pissed at WB. So not likely.
