Did Beyonce's Last Album Influence AOA?

I'm hearing it - in the same way her album seemed to not worry so much about going after hits, but rather try some more experimental R&B. Of course, you could argue that he started that entire trend, but this does feel like a return to it.

Who knows.

I've been hearing a Beyonce influence on his music for a long time. It's not something I can make the claim is definitely there though. Neither am I saying it's necessarily a very good thing.

No but Janelle Moneae's album certaintly could have. It's been a long time since Prince delivered a theme record to us, Janelle's new album is a great theme album, and it's no secret Prince is a huge fan of Janelle and her most recent album.

Somehow knew this would get some people's hackles up smile But definitely hear it, and Janelle too. Interesting that it's female R&B that continues to inspire him

So was 'The Archandroid' too. Artist of the decade for me. Easily.

Yes, her whole Metropilis series of theme albums has been absolutely amazing, each topping the previous in quality/production.

I agree with those suggesting it's Janelle and not Beyonce who is a big influence on his decision to go with this theme and sound for AOA

Change it one more time..
