Prince has the highest booking rate of all

What band/artist has the highest booking rate? Prince is at the top of the list and costs $1,500,00 to $2,000,001. I guess it's more affordable to book The Time at approx $20,000 to $29,999. Can Morris sing FUNKROLL, Clouds and U KNOW?

According to this Prince is still a worldwide superstar.

-/ Thanks for putting this up. A lot of us have been saying this for years. He ain't hurting for cash. Add the masters and he could be heading into Billionaire status.

To be honest, people like Prince who dont need the cash or just dont like being booked in that way tend to price themselves out of people booking them privately for corporate events etc... Which is why the fee will be so high. He'd make substantially less that the advertised fee from his usual gigs.

I have a hard time to believe The Time cost 20,000 to 30,000 bucks a night when they can't even get a venue to book them anymore in Paris, a city which has one of the strongest funk fanbase in the world. I'd say more like 5,000 + traveling and hotel costs (already too expensive to make a Paris show profitable considering it'd have to be a small venue), but IDK really, maybe venues and audiences are much larger in the US, given that they've had hits there while their European success in term of sales was more than limited in Europe.

As we both know, critical thinking skills are in very short supply on this site. I guess Prince was right when he said one gets the fans one deserves. When your schtick is based on fantasy and superstition you don't tend to draw the most forward-thinking, (or even thinking) moths to your flame.

Yeah I think that is the rate for a private event, and it's like, you better make it damn worth my while to go play for a bunch of your friends.

For regular shows, he's nowhere near McCartney, Stones, Waters or several others that can sell out arenas at over $100 a seat.

I noticed you said Mccartney, Stones , Waters. All of those started out in the 60's , it seems that decade of music is still more popular than 70's, 80's. So would Prince of been more appreciated by the general public if he had started out in the 60's. It seems so with Elvis , Jimi , James B , The Beatles and so on.

/// Here is something based on reality no one is going to shell out a million bucks to pay an artist to perform if no demand exists for that artist. I think performers who are in demand are paid the big dollars and are usually considered big stars but do not let facts stop your snide ass comments.

He was paid 500, 000. a night during the musicology tour. Prince has a lower over head than the Stones (split that check 4 ways) and Waters has a lot of technology($) to support his tours.

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment
