Visions from Dream Factory

Is 'Visions' from Dream Factory, the beautiful piano track, in Under the Cherry Moon, the movie? I seem to remember it at the beginning of the movie when P is sitting there playing piano.

It's Lisa. In fact, it was released on a bonus track to one of their albums.

The track from the beginning of UTCM is a version of Venus de Milo. Visions is a piece composed by Lisa and is also known as Minneapolis #1.

Visions is lovely, a great way to lull the listener into the dreamlike nature album. Wendy's guitar interlude a bit later on is also great, both are very simply and yet effective. It's tracks like these that give Dream Factory a more cohesive feel than SOTT imo, even if on balance I prefer the latter.

If I might go a little off topic now, since we're on the subject of An Honest Man, is the instrumental version from the film circulating on bootlegs? Those two disc "deluxe" editions of it always seem to have a 2 minute+ version on them, which can't be the Crystal Ball version, so is it out there or is that one just ripped from the film soundtrack, with dialogue et al?

nod
No other versions are circulating, Only that ripped from the movie
As i recall, that boot compilation pulls music and dialogue straight from the dvd, and was made by an Org'er lol

There is a bootleg a rehearsal which is rather short, poor, muddy sounding

Rehearsal - Theatre du Verdure, Nice : 27th October 1985

I see, thanks very much for the info, had been wondering about this for a while, maybe I'll try and track down that rehearsal, sounds intriguing.

Thanks, guys for the responses! Lisa is pretty talented. That piano is an interesting piece. On which Lisa and Wendy album can it be found?
